Hey tennis fans! ๐พ
Young tennis star Carlos Alcaraz showed his amazing skills at the ATP Finals on Wednesday! He won an exciting match against Andrey Rublev, with the scores 6-3, 7-6 (10/8). ๐
Even though Carlos wasn’t feeling well before the match and was really tired, he played super well. He had been sick and even had trouble breathing during practice. But he didn’t give up! ๐ช
In the first set, Carlos played fast and won it in just 38 minutes. He broke Rublev’s serve (that’s when you win a game when the other player is serving) and took the lead. In the second set, things got tougher. But Carlos kept hitting amazing shots that made the crowd cheer! ๐
Andrey Rublev tried his best and even had chances to win the second set. But Carlos stayed strong and won the match in straight sets (that means he won without losing a set). ๐
In another match, Casper Ruud played against Alexander Zverev. Casper could have moved to the semi-finals if he won, but Zverev was too strong. Zverev won 7-6 (7/3), 6-3. This means he has a good chance to go to the semi-finals now! ๐ฒ
What’s next? On Friday, Carlos Alcaraz will play against Alexander Zverev. It’s going to be an awesome match! Let’s cheer for our favorite players! Who do you think will win? ๐ค
Stay tuned for more exciting tennis action! ๐ฅณ
