Beijing Ducks Fly High in First CBA Club Cup Game!

Exciting news from China! The Beijing Ducks won their first game in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Club Cup against the Qingdao Eagles with a score of 81-76. ๐ŸŽ‰

A Team Effort

Even without some of their key players like Zeng Fanbo, the Ducks played with lots of heart. Coach Xu Limin used 11 players, and 9 of them scored points! Talk about teamwork! ๐Ÿค—

Foreign Players Making a Splash

The Ducks have three amazing foreign players: Eugene German, Richard Solomon, and Anunwa Omot. Eugene was super quick, driving to the basket. Omot showed off his awesome three-point shots ๐ŸŽฏ, and Solomon was unstoppable near the hoop. Thanks to them, the Ducks led 24-22 after the first quarter.

Qingdao Eagles Fight Back

The Eagles didn’t give up! Their American player, Jordan Mickey, scored lots of tough shots, helping his team get close to the Ducks by halftime. In the third quarter, Lyu Junhu made three big three-pointers for the Eagles. The Ducks started missing shots, and the Eagles went ahead by up to 12 points! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

The Big Comeback

But the Ducks weren’t out yet! In the last quarter, players Zhai Xiaochuan and Eugene German led a comeback. The Ducks scored a big 10-4 run, outscoring the Eagles by 15 points in that quarter! The Eagles started missing their shots, and even though Jordan Mickey scored a game-high 28 points, it wasn’t enough. The Ducks won the game! ๐Ÿฆ†๐Ÿ†
