Fu Cong, who represents China at the UN, spoke out strongly at a big meeting. He defended Xinjiang, a region in China, against some things the United States said.
Fu Cong said that Xinjiang is doing really well! People there are happy, and life is getting better. He felt that the U.S. was saying things that weren’t true about Xinjiang.
He also pointed out that many countries, including lots of Muslim countries, agree with China. They believe that Xinjiang is doing great and don’t want others to interfere.
Fu Cong asked why the U.S. talks about human rights in Xinjiang but doesn’t seem to do much about problems in other places, like Gaza, or issues at home like gun violence and discrimination.
He hopes the U.S. will look at its own problems and take real steps to help make the world a peaceful place. 🌍✌️
