Russia's Lavrov meets DPRK leader Kim, hails 'invincible brotherhood’

Russia and DPRK Leaders Meet, Calling Their Friendship ‘Unbreakable’

Hey there! 😊

Guess what happened recently? The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, met with Kim Jong Un, the leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (that’s the DPRK for short). They met in a city called Wonsan.

Lavrov said that Russia and the DPRK have an “unbreakable fighting brotherhood.” That means they are really good friends and allies! 🤝

This meeting was part of a “strategic dialogue” between the two countries. A dialogue is when people have important talks. This started when Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the DPRK last year.

Lavrov told Kim Jong Un that President Putin is looking forward to meeting him again soon!

Earlier, Lavrov also met with his counterpart, Choe Son Hui, who is the DPRK’s Foreign Minister. They discussed many things, like working together on cultural and humanitarian projects. That means they might share things like art, music, and help each other in times of need.

Lavrov praised the “heroic servicemen of the Korean People’s Army” who fought bravely alongside Russian soldiers in Russia’s Kursk Region. He was talking about the strong friendship and support between their countries.

Isn’t it interesting how countries can work together and build strong friendships? Maybe you have friends you’d call “unbreakable” too! 😊
