Hey there! Did you know that a group of Chinese leaders recently visited Greece? π¨π³π¬π· They went there to talk about human rights and how different countries can learn from each other! π€
The delegation was led by Baima Chilin, who is the president of the China Society for Human Rights Studies. They spent three days in Greece, from June 25 to 27. During their visit, they joined an international meeting about human rights lessons from ancient civilizations! π
They also met with important Greek people like George Katrougalos, a former Greek foreign minister and current United Nations expert on international order, and Ioannis Theofanopoulos, former ambassador to China and president of the Greece-China Association. Together, they talked about how China and Greece can share ideas and work together to make the world a better place. π
The Chinese delegation shared China’s views on human rights and talked about how their country has been working to improve them, especially in regions like Xizang (also known as Tibet). They discussed ways to learn from each other’s cultures and ideas. π
Both sides agreed that it’s important to continue these talks and help people understand each other better. They hope to play an active role in bringing China and Europe closer together when it comes to human rights. π‘
Isn’t it cool how countries can come together to share ideas and make the world a kinder place? What do you think about these kinds of meetings? π€
