Did you know? China and Mozambique have been friends for 50 years! 🎉 On Wednesday, leaders from both countries celebrated this special anniversary.
China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, and Mozambique’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Maria Manuela dos Santos Lucas, shared congratulations to mark half a century of their countries’ friendship.
For 50 years, China and Mozambique have trusted and respected each other. They’ve worked together on important things like farming 🌾, building roads and bridges 🛤️, energy ⚡, and sharing resources.
They also help each other in the world, standing up for fairness and justice ⚖️.
Mr. Wang Yi said he’s ready to keep working with Ms. Lucas to make their countries’ friendship even stronger!
Ms. Lucas said that Mozambique will always think of China as a brother and friend. She wants to learn from China and work together to make the world a better place 🌍.
