Hey there! Did you hear about what’s happening around the world? The United Nations (UN), a group where countries come together to talk about important issues, had a big meeting on Sunday.

They were discussing the recent actions by the United States (US). The US carried out strikes on nuclear sites in Iran, which has made many countries worried.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said, “We must act now to stop the fighting and get back to talking about Iran’s nuclear program.”

China, Russia, and Pakistan asked for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire. This means they want everyone to stop fighting right away!

China’s representative, Fu Cong, expressed deep concern about the situation getting out of control. He said, “We need to prevent things from getting worse.”

Russia’s representative, Vassily Nebenzia, reminded everyone about past mistakes. He said, “We shouldn’t repeat history by causing more suffering.”

Iran asked for the UN meeting. Iran’s UN envoy, Amir Saeid Iravani, said that the US and Israel are hurting diplomacy. He insisted that Iran’s nuclear program is only for peaceful purposes.

On the other hand, Israel’s representative praised the US action, saying it’s necessary.

Other countries like France and the United Kingdom called for everyone to start talking again and to calm down the situation.

It’s important for countries to work together and solve problems through discussion, not conflict. Let’s hope for peace and understanding! ๐Ÿ˜ŠโœŒ๏ธ
