Hey friends! Did you hear about what’s happening in Gaza? The United Nations (that’s the UN) says that many people are getting hurt while trying to get food to eat. 😢
Imagine if you had to line up just to get some food, and it wasn’t safe. That’s what’s going on for lots of kids and families in Gaza right now.
The UN is really worried because people are gathering at places to get food, but there have been attacks near these spots. That means people who are already hungry are also scared of getting hurt.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said it’s not okay for people to risk their lives just to find food. He wants everyone to be safe and able to get the help they need.
Some hospitals and clinics have also been damaged. This makes it hard for sick people to get better. Even clean water is hard to find! 💧
Because of all this, many kids can’t go to school. Over 8,000 students had to stop going to classes. Learning is so important, and missing school is tough.
The UN is trying to bring in more food and supplies, but it’s not easy. They need everyone to work together to help the people in Gaza.
