Iran Hopes for a Change in U.S. Sanctions ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ท๐บ๐ธ
Hey there! Have you ever heard about sanctions? ๐ค They’re like rules that countries use to put pressure on each other. Right now, Iran and the United States are talking about lifting some of these rules.
This week, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, said that the U.S. hasn’t changed its position on sanctions yet. That means the U.S. is still deciding whether to remove some rules that make it hard for Iran to do things like trade with other countries.
“We need to see how the unfair sanctions against the Iranian people will be lifted,” Baghaei said. “We hope past mistakes won’t happen again.”
Did you know that other countries are helping Iran and the U.S. talk? Oman, a country in the Middle East, is trying to help them find a solution. Their Foreign Minister visited Iran to share ideas about a possible deal.
Both countries have been talking in places like Rome, but they still have some big issues to solve. One main problem is about Iran’s uranium enrichment. That’s a process that can be used to make energy, but also weapons, so it’s a big topic!
Let’s hope they can find a way to agree and make things better for everyone! ๐โ๏ธ
