On Sunday, bridges in two regions of Russia called Bryansk and Kursk collapsed after explosions. 😮 The Russian Investigative Committee, which is like detectives who solve big crimes, said these explosions were terrorist attacks.
In Bryansk, an explosion caused a bridge to collapse on the Vygonichi-Pilshino railway line. This made a passenger train carrying 388 people go off the tracks. Sadly, seven people lost their lives, and 66 others were hurt.
In Kursk, another bridge explosion caused a train to fall onto the road below. The driver and two helpers were injured.
Svetlana Petrenko, the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, said they have started criminal cases to find out who did this. They are working hard to keep everyone safe.
