On Tuesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with leaders and friends in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. They talked about how the friendship between China and Vietnam is rooted in and powered by the people of both countries! 😊
President Xi said that over the years, the people of China and Vietnam have stood together through good times and bad times. They’ve helped each other and built a strong friendship. He called it a “glorious chapter” in their history! 📖
He also mentioned six important ways they plan to work together:

- Making the friendship among people even stronger ❤️

- Finding better ways to solve problems together 🧩
One exciting announcement was that China will invite Vietnamese youth to China over the next three years for “Red Study Tours”! 🎒 This means young people from Vietnam can visit China to learn more about its history and culture.
Vietnamese leaders also said that young people are the future of their friendship. They believe kids and teenagers like you can help keep the friendship strong for many years to come! 🌟
After the meeting, they also started a new project to work together on railways! 🚂 This could mean better train connections between China and Vietnam in the future.
