Hey everyone! Have you ever used a website to share your thoughts or report something important? Well, something like that just happened in China! 🇨🇳
On Wednesday, the Chinese mainland launched a new online platform where people can report activities related to those advocating “Taiwan independence” and their helpers who might be causing trouble for people in Taiwan. 🌐
Guess what? By 5 p.m. on the very same day, they received a whopping 323 emails! That’s a lot of messages in just one day! 📩
So, who are people reporting about? According to Chen Binhua, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, many of the reports are about certain political figures, organization sponsors, and internet influencers from Taiwan who are promoting “Taiwan independence.” 😯
Some of the activities people reported include unfair treatment of groups that support China’s reunification, and not respecting the rights of mainland-born spouses living in Taiwan. That’s not cool! 👎
The Chinese mainland says they will look into these reports carefully and make sure to handle things according to the law. They want to hold anyone doing bad things accountable. ⚖️
It’s important for everyone to respect each other and follow the rules, right? What do you think about this? Let us know! 💬
