China Opposes U.S. Tariffs on Venezuelan Oil ⛽✋

Recently, the United States decided to put a big tax, called a tariff, on countries that buy oil from Venezuela. A tariff is like an extra fee added to things that are bought from other places.
The Chinese mainland is not happy about this. A spokesperson named Guo Jiakun from the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the U.S. shouldn’t be punishing other countries for buying oil from Venezuela. China believes that the U.S. is interfering in Venezuela’s own business.
