China and Russia’s Leaders Meet to Strengthen Friendship 🤝

Hey there! Have you ever thought about how countries become friends? Just like you make friends at school, countries have meetings to talk and work together!

On Tuesday, Mr. Zhao Leji, who is a very important leader in China, met with Mr. Alexander Babakov, a top official from Russia, in Beijing, China’s capital city. They had a big discussion about how China and Russia can be better friends and help each other out.

Mr. Zhao said that China wants to team up with Russia to support each other, trust each other more, and work together on important projects. They also want to make sure that the world is fair for everyone, kind of like making sure everyone plays by the same rules on the playground!

He also mentioned that China’s National People’s Congress (that’s like their big group of leaders who make laws) wants to share ideas with Russia’s Federal Assembly (that’s Russia’s group of leaders). They want to learn from each other and make better laws to help both countries.
