The Global South now makes up more than 40% of the world’s economy and contributes to 80% of global economic growth. That’s huge! It means these countries are playing a big role in keeping peace, helping the world grow, and making global decisions.
Wang Yi believes that if the Global South unites, it can make the world a better, more stable place. He encourages these countries to speak up together on the world stage and protect their shared interests.
He also said, “We should focus on development, build our strength, and walk hand in hand toward modernization.” 🤝
