Judge Lifts Stop on U.S. Helping Other Countries 🌍

Hey kids! Did you know that the United States helps people in other countries when they need it? This help is called “foreign aid,” and it can be things like food, medical supplies, or support during emergencies.

Recently, something important happened. A judge named Amir Ali said that the United States can continue giving this aid. Before that, President Donald Trump’s administration had stopped the funding, which meant the help couldn’t get to those who needed it.

Judge Ali, who was chosen by President Joe Biden, told the Trump administration they couldn’t stop the aid anymore. This means organizations like USAID (that’s the U.S. Agency for International Development) can keep doing their good work! 🎉

USAID helps people in about 120 countries around the world. They have a budget of $42.8 billion—that’s a lot of money to help others! They provide almost half of all the world’s humanitarian aid.
