President Putin Wants to Talk Peace, But There’s a Problem 🕊️
Hi there! Imagine if you and someone else had a big disagreement, and you wanted to talk it out, but they weren’t ready to chat yet. That’s a bit like what’s happening between Russia and Ukraine right now.
Russian President Vladimir Putin says he is ready to have talks with Ukraine to find a peaceful solution. 💬 He said, “We are ready for negotiations on the Ukrainian issue.”
However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has some reasons why he might not want to have talks right now. 🛑 Ukraine has faced challenges and may feel that it’s not the right time to negotiate.
Because of this, it’s hard for both countries to sit down and discuss how to make things better. Putin thinks that until they can talk, it will be difficult to find peace. He hopes that Ukraine will be willing to come to the table. 🤔
