Did you know that every day in the United States, about 125 people die because of guns? 😢 This includes people who are hurt on purpose (like in crimes), people who hurt themselves, and even accidents.
Even though the number of these incidents has gone down a little recently, it’s still almost as high as it was during the pandemic. That’s a lot of people!
People who work hard to prevent violence are worried. They think that changes in the government might make things worse. They hope that leaders will help make things safer for everyone.
