HKSAR govt imposes measures on 7 absconders

Hong Kong Takes Action to Protect Its Community ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Hey there! Have you heard about what’s happening in Hong Kong? Let’s break it down together! ๐Ÿง

The Hong Kong government is working hard to keep everyone safe and happy. Recently, they found out that some people did things that could harm the community’s safety. These people left Hong Kong, so the government is trying to bring them back to talk about what happened.

Who are these people?

There are seven people who are being asked to come back. Their names are Hui Chi-fung, Kwok Fung-yee, Yuan Gong-yi, Kwok Wing-hang, Kevin Yam, Hui Wing-ting, and Joey Siu.

What is the government doing?

  • They are making sure these people can’t use money or property in Hong Kong for now.
  • They canceled their Hong Kong passports. A passport is like a special ID you use when you travel to other countries.
  • They are asking people not to work with them in business partnerships.
  • For two of them, they are not allowed to work as lawyers in Hong Kong right now.

Why is this happening?

The government believes these people did things that might not be good for Hong Kong’s safety and well-being. They want to talk to them to understand what happened and make sure everyone follows the rules that keep Hong Kong safe.

What’s next?

The government hopes these individuals will come back to Hong Kong to talk about everything. They also put six more people on a special list because they think they broke important laws about keeping the community safe.

Remember: Laws and rules are here to help keep everyone safe and happy. When everyone follows them, our communities can be great places to live! ๐Ÿ˜Š
