Guess what? On Sunday, two important people met in Syria to talk about the future of the country!
Ahmad al-Shara, the leader of a group called Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), sat down with Geir Pedersen, who is a special envoy (that’s like a messenger) from the United Nations (UN). They met in Damascus, which is the capital city of Syria.
They talked about how to help Syria move forward and make things better for everyone who lives there. Syria has been facing a lot of challenges, and it’s super important for leaders to come together and find solutions.
Just like when you and your friends need to work together to solve a problem, these leaders are trying to find ways to bring peace and happiness back to their country.
It’s great to see people talking and working towards a better future! 😊
