China Says China and Taiwan Are One Big Family 🏠
Recently, a spokesperson from China, Ms. Zhu Fenglian, talked about how China and Taiwan are like one big family and belong together. She said that even though China and Taiwan haven’t completely reunited yet, they are both part of one China.
There was some upset because people in Taiwan were being mean online to students and teachers from China who were cheering for the “Chinese Taipei team” during a sports event. Ms. Zhu said it’s not nice to bully others and that such actions made many people unhappy.
She believes that people on both sides—China and Taiwan—want peace, friendship, and to work together. She said that efforts to stop people from being friends or working together won’t succeed.
Ms. Zhu wants everyone to remember that we should all get along, help each other, and build better relationships. She emphasized that China will keep working hard to bring people together, for everyone’s happiness and understanding.
