The Straits Forum started in 2009 and is held every year. It’s a big event where people from both sides of the Taiwan Straits meet. But what is the Taiwan Straits? It’s the water between the Chinese mainland and the island of Taiwan. 🌊
At the forum, there are lots of cool activities! Farmers from Taiwan bring their yummy fruits and snacks 🍓🥭, and they show them to people from the Chinese mainland. This helps them sell more and lets everyone taste delicious food! 😋
Young people from Taiwan also get to find jobs 💼 and learn new things on the mainland. They share their ideas, start businesses, and make new friends. Isn’t that awesome? 🤩
