Kenya and China: A Strong Friendship Grows! π°πͺπ€π¨π³
Hey kids! Did you know that Kenya and China have been great friends since 1963? That’s over 60 years of friendship! Recently, the President of Kenya, William Ruto, visited China to make their bond even stronger.
During his visit from April 22 to 26, President Ruto met with Chinese leaders to talk about how their countries can work together. They decided to build a “China-Kenya community with a shared future for the new era.” That’s a fancy way of saying they want to help each other even more in the future!
China has helped Kenya build roads, bridges, and schools. This helps people in Kenya get around more easily and learn new things. Isn’t that awesome?
President Ruto also talked about how important it is for all countries to work together. He believes that when countries trade and share, everyone benefits. He said, “The globalization of trade is an existential imperative.” That means trading with others is super important for everyone to live and grow.
So, Kenya and China are teaming up to make the world a better place. Maybe one day, you can be part of international friendships too! πβ€οΈ
