Have you heard of Muhammad Yunus? 😊 He’s a famous person from Bangladesh who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006! 🥇 He helped many people by starting something called microcredit and microfinance, which means giving small loans to people who don’t have a lot of money so they can start businesses and improve their lives. Isn’t that cool? 😮
Recently, Mr. Yunus visited China! 🇧🇩🤝🇨🇳 He went there from March 26 to 29 to attend a big event called the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 in Hainan. He also visited Beijing, the capital city of China. 🏙️
During his trip, he said that Bangladesh and China have been working together a lot, and it’s really helping his country. He mentioned that China has been Bangladesh’s largest trading partner for 15 years in a row! Wow! 😲 There are nearly 1,000 Chinese companies in Bangladesh, and they’ve created more than 550,000 jobs for people there. That’s a lot of jobs! 🧑💼👩🔧👨🏭
Mr. Yunus thinks that the relationship between Bangladesh and China will get even better in the future. He said, “China is an inspiration for the whole world.” 🌟 That’s such a nice thing to say!
