What’s Going On?
The Chinese mainland has begun special environmental inspections. These are like check-ups to see how the land, air, and water are doing. This is the first time they’re doing it under new rules that are all about helping nature!
Where Are They Looking?
Teams are going to five places: Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shaanxi, and Ningxia. They’re also checking out the Yellow River Basin, which is a really important river area in China.
Who Else Is Involved?
They will also visit three big companies: China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., China Datang Corporation Ltd., and State Power Investment Corporation Limited. These companies make energy, and it’s important they do it in a way that’s good for the environment!
How Long Will It Last?
The inspections will last about one month. During this time, people can call or write letters to share any concerns they have about the environment. It’s a team effort!
