This year’s theme is “Our Power, Our Planet”. It means we all have the power to make a difference by using clean, renewable energy. Imagine if we could triple the amount of clean electricity by 2030! That’s what we’re aiming for. 💡🌿
Why Does It Matter?
Things like cutting down too many trees (deforestation), making too many things in factories (over-industrialization), and polluting our oceans can hurt the Earth by causing global warming. Global warming means the Earth’s temperature gets hotter. 🔥
In fact, scientists from the World Meteorological Organization say that 2024 was the hottest year ever recorded! The Earth’s temperature was about 1.55 degrees Celsius higher than before we had big factories and machines. That’s a big deal! 😯
What Can We Do?
