Guess who loves playing in the snow? Siberian tigers! 🐯❄️
In Shenyang City, in northeast China, over 100 Siberian tigers are having a blast at the Guaipo Siberian Tiger Park. They’re rolling around, pouncing, and enjoying the chilly weather. Some are even cuddling together around trees to keep warm!
The zookeepers are doing a great job making sure the tigers are happy and healthy. They’ve added extra yummy food like beef and pork to help the tigers stay warm. They’ve also put dry straw in their outdoor areas so the tigers have a cozy place to rest.
One of the zookeepers, Mr. Song, said, “As it’s cold in winter, we have added more meat to the tigers’ diets to help them resist the cold. We also put dried straws in their enclosure regularly to keep them warm.”
The tigers seem to love these special treats and were seen lounging happily on the straw, soaking up the winter sunshine. ☀️
