Massive Cyclone Chido Hits Mozambique, Affecting Thousands ๐ŸŒช๏ธ

Hey everyone! Have you heard about Cyclone Chido? ๐ŸŒช๏ธ It’s a huge storm that hit Mozambique, a country in Africa. The cyclone caused a lot of damage, and many people need our support.

Sadly, 73 people lost their lives, and 543 people got hurt because of the storm. ๐Ÿฅ Thousands of families had to leave their homes to stay safe.

Cyclone Chido destroyed or damaged over 36,000 houses! ๐Ÿ  It also affected 149 schools, which means many kids can’t go to school right now. ๐Ÿ“š Hospitals, places of worship, and even fishing boats were damaged too.

The government has opened emergency centers where 1,349 people are getting help. Helpers from all over are providing food, water, and a safe place to stay.

Even though Cyclone Chido has moved away, there’s still a lot of work to do. Organizations are asking for more support to help about 182,000 people who were affected by the cyclone.
