The United Nations (UN) started a program to find big leaks of methane from oil and gas places around the world. They used special satellites in space 🛰️ to spot these leaks and sent out 1,200 alerts to governments and companies to fix them.

Only 1% Took Action

But guess what? Out of all those alerts, only 12 were fixed! That’s just 1%! 😮 Many countries and companies promised to cut down on methane, but they haven’t been doing much about it.
