Have you ever thought about how ancient buildings were made? 🏯 Recently, Japanese experts took a deep dive into the amazing architecture of China’s Tang Dynasty (618-907). This period is known as a golden age for wooden buildings, and it’s considered the peak of ancient Chinese architectural art and engineering!
These incredible designs didn’t just stay in China—they influenced many places across Asia, especially Japan. On July 5, a special virtual exhibition called “Tang Architecture: Building Timeless Glory” was launched in Japanese. Guess what? It’s going to be showcased at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan! How cool is that?
To celebrate this launch, CGTN invited two top experts from Japan in architecture and cultural heritage to have a chat in Tokyo. They talked about the beauty of Tang Dynasty buildings and how they’ve impacted cultures far and wide. It’s amazing to see how something from so long ago can still inspire us today!
Maybe next time you see a cool building, you’ll wonder about its history and the stories it holds. Who knows, you might be inspired to create your own masterpiece someday! 🛠️
