Hey space fans! π Guess what? China has just launched its Shenzhou-20 spacecraft into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China! How cool is that?
The brave astronauts on this mission are Chen Dong, Chen Zhongrui, and Wang Jie. They’re heading to China’s space station to do some amazing science experiments.
They’ll be working with zebrafish (tiny fish that help scientists understand how living things behave in space π), planarians (worms that can regrow their own body parts πͺ±), and streptomyces (tiny organisms important for making medicines π). In total, they’ll conduct 59 experiments!
These experiments will teach us more about life sciences, like how plants and animals grow without gravity, and physical sciences, like how different materials behave in space. They’ll also test new space technologies. Isn’t that awesome?
Who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll be an astronaut exploring the stars! π
