Hey everyone! 🌟 Let’s talk about something important happening in the Chinese mainland. A big landslide happened in a village called Jinping in Junlian County, which is in Sichuan Province.
What’s a landslide? 🧐 It’s when a lot of rocks and earth suddenly slide down a mountain or hill. This can happen after heavy rain or earthquakes.
On Saturday, the landslide buried 10 houses where people lived and a building where people worked. That’s really scary! 😮
Sadly, one person has died, and two people got hurt. Right now, 28 people are still missing, and many brave rescuers are trying hard to find them. 🚑👩🚒
The good news is that over 200 people were taken to safety. They are staying at a local school for now, which has become a temporary shelter. 🏫
