Hey friends, we have some sad news to share 😔. In Vietnam, a country in Asia, there was a boat accident in a place called Ha Long Bay on July 19. Ha Long Bay is famous for its beautiful islands and clear water.
A cruise ship carrying 53 people—48 tourists and 5 crew members—was sailing when a sudden thunderstorm hit. The strong winds and heavy rain caused the ship to capsize, which means it turned over in the water.
Unfortunately, 38 people have lost their lives in this accident. But there is some hopeful news: 12 people were rescued by brave rescuers who are still working hard to find others.
Rescue teams are continuing their search, hoping to find more survivors. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those affected by this tragic event.
