Hey there! Did you hear about the big event in Kazakhstan? 🌟 On June 17, the second China-Central Asia Summit took place in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan. It’s a super important meeting where leaders from China and Central Asian countries got together to talk about how they can work better together.
Guess what? They announced 12 new cooperation agreements! 🎉 These agreements cover lots of cool stuff like the Belt and Road collaboration (that’s a big project to improve roads and trade routes), exchanging people and ideas, green mining (taking care of the environment while mining), trade, connectivity, industry, and customs. That’s a lot of areas where they can help each other out!
Some local people in Kazakhstan shared their thoughts about the summit. A resident named Zhalyn said that the summit marks a new phase of cooperation along the Silk Road. If you don’t know, the Silk Road was an ancient network of trade routes that connected the East and West. Now, countries are working together to rebuild those connections!
Another person, Erzat, who is an engineer, said, “I believe this kind of cooperation among Central Asian countries can lay a solid foundation for the development of industries like metallurgy, chemical engineering, and logistics, while driving overall progress across multiple fields.”
Isn’t it exciting to see countries teaming up to make the world a better place? 🌍 Maybe one day, you’ll get to visit these places or even be part of these big projects!
