Fermob sells lots of chairs and tables to the United States. But recently, selling there has become harder. Why? Because of something called tariffs. Tariffs are extra taxes countries put on products from other countries. This makes things more expensive. For Fermob, a chair that used to cost $150 now costs $175 in the U.S.! 💰
Bernard Reybier, the president of Fermob, said they’re thinking about selling less in the U.S. and more in places like Australia and Asia. And guess what? They really want to sell more chairs in China! 🇨🇳
