Peruvian Student Hopes for Friendship Between China and Latin America π€
Meet Anna Paula Peralta Reyes! She’s a student from Peru, a country in South America famous for Machu Picchu and llamas π¦. Anna loves learning and making new friends.
Anna studied at a Chinese school in Peru for 11 years! She learned about Chinese language and culture, and she liked it so much that she decided to study in China. Now, she’s a communication major at Jilin University in China. Isn’t that cool?
This year, there’s an important meeting called the China-CELAC Forum. It’s when leaders from China and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean get together to talk about how to work together and help each other. Anna thinks this is a great chance for countries to be friends and solve big problems like building roads and bridges, finding clean energy, making new technology, having enough food, and getting better education.
One awesome project Anna is excited about is the Chancay Port. It’s a big port being built in Peru with the help of China. This port will connect ships from Latin America to Asia! It also means lots of new jobs for people in Peru. That’s great news for her country!
Anna believes that as China and the countries in Latin America become better friends, they can share ideas and grow together. She hopes that by working together, everyone can enjoy the good things that come from development. π
