A German Teen’s Adventure with Chinese Movies ๐ฌ
The 15th Beijing International Film Festival is lighting up the city from April 18 to 26! ๐ Among the excited movie fans is a German student named Furuisai, who once lived in Shanghai and fell in love with Chinese films. ๐ฉ๐ชโค๏ธ๐จ๐ณ
He enjoys a variety of Chinese movies, especially animations, comedies, and science fiction. Some of his favorites are “Ne Zha”, “Hi, Mom”, and “The Wandering Earth”. Have you seen any of these? ๐ค
“Ne Zha” tells the story of a boy who is misunderstood by everyone but chooses to fight for his own destiny. This theme really touched Furuisai. He said, “It’s inspiring to see Ne Zha stand up for himself, even when no one believes in him.” ๐ชโจ
With the year 2025 marking the 130th anniversary of world cinema and the 120th anniversary of Chinese cinema, he believes that Chinese movies have great potential. He hopes to see more international cooperation in filmmaking. ๐๐ฅ
