Hi there! Have you ever seen a flower so beautiful it takes your breath away? 🌸 In China, the peony is that flower! It’s a symbol of happiness and prosperity.
Recently, the 2025 World Peony Conference and the 34th Heze International Peony Culture and Tourism Festival opened on April 8 in Heze City, east China’s Shandong Province. Heze is known as China’s “peony capital” because of its amazing peony gardens!
Guess what? South Korean vlogger Kim Jeong-won visited the breathtaking Caozhou peony garden right when the peonies were in full bloom! She didn’t just stop at admiring the flowers. She also tried on hanfu, which is traditional Chinese clothing. 👘 Hanfu has a long history in China and is often seen in classic paintings and stories.
Kim wore hanfu designs inspired by peonies and felt like she stepped back in time! She even recreated scenes from famous Chinese paintings. Isn’t that cool?
The peony isn’t just special in China. It’s like a cultural ambassador, connecting people from different countries. Artists from all over the world are sharing how much they love peonies and how this beautiful flower brings us all together!
Would you like to visit a peony garden someday? Or maybe try on hanfu? Let us know! 😊
