Chinese Vlogger Shares Earthquake Escape from Myanmar π
Hey everyone! Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be in an earthquake? π§ Well, Chinese travel vlogger Mang experienced just that when he was visiting Myanmar recently.
The Earth Shakes in Mandalay π
On March 28, Mang was near the famous U Bein Bridge in Mandalay when suddenly, the ground started shaking violently! The bridge, which is the longest teakwood bridge in the world, seemed to sway as the earthquake hit. Mang felt scared but tried to stay calm.
A Journey to Safety π
After the earthquake, many people, including some foreign tourists, were moved to a safer area northeast of Mandalay. On the way, Mang saw buildings that had collapsed, which was really sad. The next day, on March 29, he was evacuated by bus to Yangon, Myanmar’s largest city. Can you imagine being on a bus for 17 hours? That’s almost an entire day!
Staying Strong Together πͺ
Even though it was a scary experience, Mang was brave and shared his story to help others understand what happened. Rescue teams are still working hard to help people affected by the earthquake.
Natural disasters like earthquakes can be frightening, but they also show how people come together to help each other. It’s important to stay calm and follow safety instructions if you ever find yourself in such a situation.
