Hey everyone,
π Big news from Myanmar (that’s a country in Southeast Asia)! A powerful earthquake, measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale, hit the city of Mandalay on March 28. π’
The earthquake caused a lot of damage. Many houses collapsed, and roads and bridges were destroyed. Sadly, more than 1,000 people lost their lives, and over 2,000 were injured. Our hearts go out to all the families affected. β€οΈ
But there’s hope! π Rescue teams are working day and night to help those in need. Volunteers, doctors, and firefighters are all coming together to save lives and provide support. It’s amazing to see so many people helping out!
If you want to help, you can talk to your parents or teachers about ways to support those affected by this disaster. Maybe there’s a charity you can donate to or a way to raise awareness in your community.
Let’s keep the people of Myanmar in our thoughts. π Stay safe and be kind!
