Young Asian Voices Share Green Ideas Ahead of Boao Forum 2025

Hey there, eco-enthusiasts! 🌿

Have you ever wondered how small actions can make a big difference for our planet? Well, young people across Asia are showing us how! With the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025 just around the corner—from March 25 to 28 in Boao, south China’s Hainan Province—they’re sharing their awesome ideas on green development.

This year’s forum theme is “Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future.” It’s all about working together to make our world better by focusing on development, having important conversations, and finding cool new solutions to protect our environment.

As part of this mission, CGTN invited youths from different Asian countries to share how they make eco-friendly choices every day. Meet Adel Baktygulova, a student from Kyrgyzstan studying at Tsinghua University in China. She believes that “young people can make a big difference through small actions every day.”

So, what can you do?

  • 🌱 Reduce Waste: Try using reusable water bottles and lunch boxes instead of disposable ones.
  • 💡 Save Energy: Remember to turn off lights when you leave a room. It saves energy and helps the planet!
  • 🚴‍♀️ Choose Green Transportation: If you can, walk, cycle, or use public transport instead of cars.

Adel and other international students in China are also sharing ideas from their cultures, creating exciting new ways to go green. By learning from each other, they’re sparking fresh ideas and starting new projects to make our world cleaner and greener.

You can be a part of this movement too! Talk to your friends and family about simple ways to help the environment. Remember, every little bit counts!

Let’s join hands with youths like Adel to build a better, greener future for everyone! 🌎💚
