Hey there, future world-changers! π Have you ever wondered how young people like you are making our planet greener? At the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025, held from March 25 to 28 in Boao, south China’s Hainan Province, Asian youth gathered to share awesome ideas about protecting our Earth! πΏ
The theme of this year’s event was “Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future.” Sounds cool, right? It means working together to make our world a better place for everyone! π€
Meet Celia! π Celia Annetta is a student from Indonesia studying at Tsinghua University. She shared a super neat way her country helps the environment: using banana leaves and brown paper to wrap food! ππ¦ Isn’t that a fantastic way to reduce plastic waste?
Celia was also amazed by how many people in China use electric bikes and cars. π²β‘ She said, “Indonesia is also a bike-heavy country. If we could switch to e-bikes instead of fuel-powered bikes, I think it could definitely make a big difference in our air pollution and make our environment cleaner.”
What Can You Do? π€
- Think about how you can use less plastic. Maybe pack your lunch in reusable containers! π±
- Consider riding a bike or walking instead of taking a car. It’s fun and good for the planet! πΆββοΈπ΄ββοΈ
- Share your own green ideas with friends and family. Every little action counts! π±
Join the Green Team! ππ Let’s work together, just like Celia and other youths at the conference, to make our world a healthier, happier place!
