Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. Over the past few years, there have been tensions and conflicts that have affected people’s lives. Families might have to move, schools might be different, and everyday life can feel uncertain.
We talked to some Ukrainian kids in the city of Kharkiv. They shared how they feel about everything happening around them. Some said they’re worried about their future, while others are hopeful that things will get better soon.
One 12-year-old girl named Anna told us, “I miss when things were peaceful. But I still have my friends, and we try to have fun and support each other.” It’s important to stay positive and help one another during tough times.
Even though things aren’t easy, many young Ukrainians are showing amazing strength and hope. They continue to go to school, play sports, and enjoy their hobbies. They dream of a bright future where they can achieve their goals.
