Guess what! An American professor named Timothy Burns from Baylor University in Texas went on an exciting trip to China! 🇨🇳 He visited a place called Henan Province, which is south of the famous Yellow River.
Henan is super special because it’s known as the cradle of Chinese civilization. That means a lot of amazing things started there a long time ago! 🏯 Over 3,000 years, more than 20 different dynasties (like kingdoms) called Henan their home.
Do you know about China’s four great inventions? They are papermaking, printing, the compass, and gunpowder! 📜🧭💥 And guess what? They all came from Henan!
Professor Burns was amazed by all this history. But that’s not all! He also saw how modern China is becoming. Instead of noisy motorcycles like in the U.S., people in China ride quiet electric bikes in their own special lanes. 🚲⚡ It’s better for the environment and so cool!
He said, “Chinese are advancing rapidly in things like AI (that’s Artificial Intelligence 🤖), and that will be needed for the new energy sources, so I congratulate China.”
Isn’t it awesome how a place can have such a rich history and still be so modern? Maybe one day, you’ll get to visit Henan Province too!
