Hello 2025: Wishes from a South Korean Pet Lover 🐾
As we say goodbye to 2024, people all around the world are sharing their hopes for the new year. CGTN started a cool campaign called “1,001 Wishes for 2025” with the hashtag #Hello2025. It’s in 81 languages! 🌍
In South Korea, the end of the year is usually a time for big family dinners, fun trips, and visiting friends. But this year was a bit different. There was a lot of political trouble, so many traditions were put on hold. 😔
We talked to Dongdong, who owns a pet shop in South Korea. She said 2024 was really tough for everyone. “I hope that in 2025, people can be more caring and united,” she shared. “It’s important to think about what’s good for all of us, not just ourselves.”
Dongdong also has a personal wish: she wants to travel more with her dog! 🐶✈️ Imagine all the fun places they could explore together!
