Spain’s Floods: Residents Evacuate as Rescue Teams Work
Hey everyone! 🌊 Have you ever seen big puddles after a rainstorm? Well, in Spain, they had so much rain that it caused huge floods! This means that water went into places it’s not supposed to, like streets and homes.
What Happened?
On November 1st, Spain experienced its worst floods in many years. The heavy rains caused rivers to overflow. Sadly, many people were affected, and the number of people who lost their lives reached 205.
Helping Each Other
Rescue teams are working really hard to find people who might be trapped. Imagine superheroes searching day and night! 🦸♂️🦸♀️ In the city of Valencia, some people had to leave their homes by walking through the water. They are now starting to clean up and fix their houses.
Staying Safe During Floods
Floods can be very dangerous. It’s important to listen to adults and stay away from deep water. Communities often come together to help each other during times like these.
What Can We Do?
Even if we’re far away, we can think about the people in Spain and hope they stay safe. Maybe you can talk with your friends or family about ways to help others during emergencies. 💖
