We have some sad news to share. In a place called Gaza, there was an airstrike. That means bombs were dropped from airplanes onto the ground. This happened in a town called Beit Lahiya.
The airstrike hit a big building where many families lived. Sadly, at least 109 people lost their lives, and many of them were children like you and me. 💔
A man named Hassan, who lives nearby, talked about what happened. He said that the homes were destroyed, but people are trying their best to help. They’re working hard to rescue anyone who might still be trapped under the rubble, which is what we call the broken pieces of the buildings.
It’s a very tough time for the people in Gaza. Imagine if your own neighborhood was affected like this—it would be very scary and sad. That’s why it’s important to think about others and spread kindness.
