On October 7, 2023, a big problem started between two groups: Israel and Palestine. This conflict has been going on for a long time, but recently, things got worse.
Because of the fighting, many people have been hurt. Over 41,000 people in Gaza have lost their lives, and more than 97,000 have been injured. That’s a lot of people! 😢
It’s very sad, especially because many of them are kids just like you. In fact, about one-third of the people who have died are children. Imagine not being able to play outside or go to school because it’s not safe.
Homes and buildings have been destroyed, and many families have had to leave. Over two million people have had to find new places to stay.
People in Gaza are asking for help. A man named Bilal said that everything is destroyed—there are no buildings, walls, or even trees left. Another person, Mohamed, asked the world to stand with them and help bring peace.
It’s important for everyone to work together to stop the fighting so kids can be safe and happy again. Let’s hope for peace soon! ✨
