Meet Ana Fernandez Perez. She’s a filmmaker who lives and works in New York City. But back in 2009, she decided to go on an adventure to China! 🇨🇳 She went to Xiangtan City in Hunan Province to teach at a college for a whole year!
Before she arrived, Ana thought she knew a bit about China. But when she set foot there, she was completely amazed! 😲 She found that people were super friendly, hardworking, and always ready to help. Everyone was so studious and grateful. It was like discovering a whole new world!
During her time in China, Ana explored the great mountains and rivers 🏔️🌊, tasted delicious and unique foods 🍜, and learned so much about Chinese culture. She had incredible experiences that she says will stay with her forever.
Even though Ana is back in New York now, she feels that China is still a part of her. In some way, the things she learned and the friends she made have changed her life. Isn’t it amazing how adventures can do that?
