Meet Nexul: The Girl from Tajikistan Learning Chinese!
Have you ever dreamed of exploring the world? 🌍 Well, that’s exactly what a young woman named Nexul from Tajikistan is doing! Inspired by the Belt and Road Initiative, she decided to make a big change in her life.
Nexul used to work at a bank in her home country, Tajikistan, which is in Central Asia. But she wanted to see more of the world and learn new things. So, she quit her job and moved to Lianyungang city in Jiangsu Province, in the east of China.
Why China? Because she believes that learning Chinese, or Mandarin, is the first step on her grand adventure! 🗺️
“I was inspired by the Belt and Road Initiative’s impact in Central Asia,” she says. “By learning Chinese, I can connect with more people and discover new opportunities.”
The Belt and Road Initiative is a big plan that helps countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe work together. It’s like building bridges between countries so they can help each other out!
Now, every day, Nexul studies Chinese characters, practices speaking Mandarin, and makes new friends in China. She is excited to see where her journey will take her next.
